Only 150 miles to go to Infineon
Raceway. I can’t believe we made it this far. The
countless bottles of Mountain Dew take their toll and nature
calls.

The last thing we want to see as we close on in on Sonoma,
CA… traffic!! Paul and I argued about what day in the week
it was—Sunday or Monday. It turns out that it was Monday.

Our friend and supporter Jason Whipple (aka ogvw) hooks us
up with his buddies at STASIS, an Audi racing shop out of
Infineon Raceway. While Paul and I rest up, they kindly
bleed our brakes, make new hubcentric rings and tighten all
the offensively loose nuts and bolts on our car. So you
mean the noise we heard was the front strut ready to fall
off? I guess so.

Jason holds in his hand a gen-u-ine factory oil filter. The
then proceeds to change the engine, tranny and differential
fluids. This is more care than the car is used too. She’s
very happy. I think she has a crush on Jason. He’s such a
pimp.

I sleep. No amount of caffeine is going to keep me awake.
I’m so tired that I don’t even take any pictures from our
racing at Sears Point. But I’ll get my hands of some video
that was taken by a few of our friendly customers who
stopped by to watch! Hang tight for now.
