Getting Started

I.                    Before beginning the installation of the package, take your car to a local muffler shop and have the bung provided with the kit welded into your downpipe. Newer signature exhausts will already have a second bung welded into the pipe. The sensor must be installed between the ten and two o’clock position, at least 12 inches away from the turbo, and before the catalytic converter. Below is a sample of how it can be done.

 

II.                 Tools needed

  1. Wire strippers

  2. Wire cutters

  3. Electrical tape

  4. Soldering iron

  5. Needle noise pliers

  6. Small flathead screw driver

  7. Razor blade

  8. Laptop

III.               Download all of the files from this website onto your desktop.

 V3.2 and SMART templates

IV.              With the bung installed, program folder downloaded and tools in hand, get into the car via the passenger side. Remove the glove-box.

**Remember to DISCONNECT THE BATTERY when doing any kind of wiring.**
