Install
What
you need:
Tiny flat-head
screwdriver
10mm ratchet with extension
Needle nose pliers (optional)
Heatgun or cigarette lighter
Before
you start:
Follow the instructions on how to access your ECU here
Step 2:
Now insert the appropriate wire
from the plug-in XEDE harness into the slot where the light green
boost control wire used to go. In this
picture, the color of the wire is blue. In some harnesses, it
is another color. Doesn’t matter since
it is the only wire which is female terminated just like the green
wire you extracted in the previous step.
Next, insert the other
male terminated wire from the plug-in XEDE harness into the end of
the female terminated light green
wire. Once connected, use the shrink-wrap to secure it and isolate
it from shorting against other metal
objects. Push back in the white plastic insert. It will make a
click” when it goes in all the way.
