ECU Removal Instructions 1. To begin disconnect the negative battery terminal. Then, we will undo the two wiring connectors on the ECU. Start by pressing the small plastic tab in the middle of the connector, which holds the black plastic bar in place. Once this is pressed down, pull the black plastic bar toward the front of the car. Doing this will unlatch the connector. Repeat this process on the bottom connector as well.
2. Once this is complete, the next step will be to unbolt the ECU, so that it may be removed. First, remove the 10mm bolt on the top support. The last step will be to remove the two 12mm bolts on the side of the ECU, where the ECU cradle bolts to the frame.
